BA Executive Club changes
They've broken it.
So in the last few posts I’ve been talking about re-earning BA status next year, and in the best tradition of these things, today BA have announced they are changing the scheme totally from April 1st 2025.
No longer are tier points earned based on distance travelled or cabin, but now it is all based on expenditure. The levels the status is earned at have also been hiked right up.

And I'd just reached Silver for the first time! But they haven't listened to the hodes of criticism. I suspect that, like you, my BA flights will be far fewer after my Silver status expires.
